Resources needed

Peace reigns abundance of resources that a person is free to take advantage of. But we are superior to other species, and have reached a stage of development when creating new types of resources, for greater benefits. First, mankind translates one type of energy into another. Due to friction - we learned to make fire, using water energy - electricity. But electricity itself, we have turned into something that is not part of the material world, namely - in information.

Thanks to computing technology, we are accelerating the pace of development. Shifting computers routine work, people become freer in generating the ideas themselves. But computing resource is limited. Universities, research laboratories and research institutes - all in need of computing power. From the amount of this resource it depends directly on the level of science today.

We continue to believe that progress will move by the user. That laptops will thinner, monitors will wider and game will be more realistic. But we confuse a by-product of progress with the true. We could have colonized Mars, Venus to make habitable, ensure high-quality longevity more of the world's population. But instead we are only looking for the resolution, pixels, Selfie stick, and new gadgets. Progress is, but how long its fruit will satisfy us?
