Man is not
in vain the crown of evolution. Being involved in a constant competition, we
are every day sharpen skills and develop abilities. But how many people really
are in competition? Not in the fight comparisons, who has bigger monitor or
newer smartphone model, but in the real competition for a certain prize? Not a
lot.
And it is
natural. In the past century, due to limited resources and environmental
hazards (in the form of disease, predators, starvation and cold) people fought
for every inch of space belonging to it. But today, we do not need to struggle
for survival. Today, the only competitor for the man is himself.
We set
objectives on the basis of personal beliefs and orientations. Some seek wealth,
someone in power; someone wants to change the world. We are increasingly
finding unique and unexplored possibilities, becoming pioneers and stubbornly
moving toward the goal in every possible way. You can spend the capacity to
argue, persuade friends to argue with opponents react to every stimulus that is
found in the way. And you can just do your job, and then the reward is not long
to wait.
