To live in
the modern world, a person has to comply with its requirements. No one is
forcing us to deal in a computer or learning a programming language. We do not
have to know how a particular device. All we need is to use those or other
things. To use, repair and buy new ones, for the sake of advertising. But what
do we see, if we look at it more widely? We offer something of which we knew
nothing about, or have a vague idea. Only a small fraction of people know and
can explain how a computer works. But most are willing to pay money as a
imposed for services, and to address the problems that exist only in the
imagination of the user.
If
the person is illiterate, he becomes a victim. Knowledge allows us to use more
options to address those or other problems. We are free to choose: to bring the
computer serviced, or remove the cause of your own failure.
Today,
technology has become more than a part of our lives. Computing devices are
everywhere and we can only humbly observe the consequences of their growth. Do
not use them; we do not get better, or more independent. We only degraded,
unable to match the progress. All that is left to us to do is to learn and
relearn. This adaptation is the true essence of man. Resort to it or not - this
is the choice of everyone.
