Morality,
humanity, ethics and aesthetics - exclusively human. It is we; the people have
come up, expanded and introduced rules and regulations, some of which still use
today. Some of the rules are really necessary. Certain rules - robust,
objective and does not require leveling. But most of the above law is based on
prejudice and stereotypes. The main problem is their attitude to the body.
The man
himself entirely free to choose what to do with the body. Provided that it does
not cause harm to his relatives or the state (who invest in this man, paying
him benefits families by providing free education, etc.). And if the actions
are beneficial, then why not? Why do we have to limit the feelings, cognitive
and physical abilities simply because many centuries ago, it was considered
irrelevant? For the sake of the prejudices that crumble into dust in the next
decades? But this time we will lose opportunities that could save our lives for
centuries.
The moral
of today's world is not much different from the morality of the Middle Ages.
Evolved only the constitution, public mechanisms, and improved standard of
living. But the mind remains the same, with all the advantages and
disadvantages. And if conservatism was justified by a century ago, but today it
can be a threat. On the other hand, everyone chooses: to keep pace with time or
remain in the cozy past.
