Alternative
Energy is a synthesis of best practices for energy, while maintaining the
environment and non-use of finite resources.
To date,
the main types of alternative energy are: solar, geothermal, wind, energy,
water masses and bioenergy. These we consider in this post.
Solar
energy is the most popular of all. The basis is the conversion of solar energy
into electrical energy. To do this, it use a thermodynamic method, or
photoelectric.
Thermodynamic
method is based on the conversion of light energy into heat at first, then in
mechanics and then into electricity through the boiler (which is located at the
intersection of sunlight) which is heated, vaporized water (which pushes the
piston) and the electricity generator, which pressure piston - generates an
electrical current.
Photoelectric
method is built on the laws of chemistry, and involves the use of a special
coating that absorbs photons, produces electricity.
Especially
solar energy is depending on the day and night, the seasons, the low density of
sunlight and weather. Such a system must have a device to avoid accumulating
random vibration modes of operation, or provide the necessary change of energy
in time.
However,
such systems have justified its use in deserts, where there are very favorable
conditions for the accumulation and use not only solar energy and heat.
Wind energy
- the transformation of the kinetic energy of air masses in the atmosphere,
into electrical energy.
Wind power
- plant, which converts kinetic energy of wind into electrical energy.
Built-based wind turbine connected to a generator of electric current is
controlled by an automatic device and control structure.
An
interesting fact is the use as a bladed fans, and turbines or vertical designs.
The latter differ less noise isolation, and as an example, a pair mounted on
the Eiffel Tower and successfully fueled the first floor.
Production
of wind power is very cheap, but their efficiency is low and they are just like
the sun, depending on the weather.
