Trans person theories (Part 6 deep look)

The basis of this post, has laid down the doctrine of Erik Erikson's human nature.
The important point is that this theory focuses on the human "ego." Erickson repelled by the model of personality Freud. He, like Freud (which is the end of life gave the prerogative of the ego), he emphasized the importance of human consciousness. For the study of consciousness, Erickson proposed a system of fields. Each field had two poles, and the man positioned himself between them. The important point is precisely the focus on human ego. We choose the important poles for themselves and support their significance. Each of them is important and they do not fall into the "bad" and "good."
Freedom - determinism. From the viewpoint of Erickson, our behavior has inherently a stimulus. We did not do anything. There is always some reason. Determinant. Freedom is given to us in the manifestation of responses and the ability to correct errors of the individual. Freud argued that the personality is formed in childhood. Erickson argues that throughout life.
For us it is absolutely one: the evolution of species on a single example - is possible. We can change our consciousness and personality as we like, guided by certain motives.
Rationality - irrationality.
Erickson argued that rationality is more important in our lives than Freud argued. We find more options to meet the needs than we originally proposed by nature. We are trying to cultivate and utilize resources, with minimal effort and to produce greater benefits. We expect some prospects, but not blindly consume, guided by single goals.
Holism - elementalizm.
Erickson argues that the identity of the integrity and indivisibility. This again raises the problem of "transfer" of consciousness to another form of existence, but it opens the possibility of all-round progress. Using the same nano-robots, prosthetic progressive, genetic engineering: provide a comprehensive progress for the purpose of evolution. Examining the individual as a holistic entity - removes a number of ethical and moral issues.
Constitutionalism - environmentalism.
Erickson favored environmentalism. It is the culture of education, society and family (his cell), affect a person's personality. Do not take this as a limitation. On the contrary, it is a tool of personal development. Being among people with common interests, the subject has more resources for development. In the same structure there is a great analogue transhumanism and Singularity noosphere.

More about the personality structure of Erickson - in the next post.
