Science in
the hands of modern society is precisely the arrow. More precisely - a quiver
of arrows, with a variety of tips and tail. The line beyond which we cannot
step over, we are already seeing. This is the speed of light, the immortality,
the manipulation of atoms and much more. If earlier people lived without
understanding the nature of, not realizing their potential, but now we are very
close to them.
Should I
step over that line and what it will suffer the consequences?
The most
common scenario involves the extinction of mankind. Having succeeded at least
in one of the developed areas of progress, humanity breaks through the dam will
open a Pandora's box and would destroy not only themselves but also the whole
universe. It is interesting to trace the beginning of this phobia, which rests
on the launch of the Large Hadron Collider. It was then assumed that the
collision of atoms at close to light speed, will result in the emergence of the
black hole and the collapse of the solar system.
In one of
the previous posts it was said that the scientists - is not evil geniuses who
use everything that falls under the arm, going to blindly fanatical goal.
Scientists are people who like anyone else, understand the risks of its own
research and the possible consequences.
Humanity
stands at a wall, and cannot be made a single step forward. We should climb up,
that would personally see the new horizons of our own capabilities.
