Nature, man
laid one very unpleasant property known as laziness. Laziness plays a role of a
fuse. It stimulates the person to rest, preventing overstrain the body. Nature
comes very wise when it comes to survival. Why not expend energy when basic
needs are satisfied. But this strategy is scattered with the ashes, when it
comes to life as such. We do not need to live forever. More precisely, this
need is there, but manifested in exceptional cases, when a person is on the
verge of death. Or when he sees death firsthand.
The brain
perceives the death - as the greatest threat. The risk of death - is extremely
high. Higher than the chance of winning the lottery. That is why, the brain
builds mental barriers, allowing people not to see the horror. Therefore - we
do not have a daily need to provide eternal life.
Moreover,
there are religions that claim after death, a person will continue to operate
in a different world. More perfect, the best, or vice versa. It does not
matter. The fate to go to hell, not as bad as the fear of the unknown.
In any
case, we humans are not faced with death so often that it would be realized to
be afraid of it. In the absence of demand, we continue to live is not rational,
aggravating the situation.
Only a
rational approach and obvious example, mixed with ideology propaganda value of
life (humanity) may awaken a spark cravings for life. Only there is a clear
path for humanity is not survival, but life itself.
