Apocalypse

Referring to the origins of fiction, it is possible to trace the growth of the attractiveness of subjects, which are the key ideas of the apocalypse. This can be explained as easily create a story, and the complexity of the problems in the creation of an ideal world of utopia, and ease of viewing the negative consequences of progress. It is much easier to come up with a disaster than to imagine the complexity of the problem and the ideal society. But how plausible these subjects, and whether to be afraid of their development in the future?
Most of the stories (a movie, a book, a game), the hero finds a way to cope with the problem, and good triumphs at the dawn of a new day. Each author points to advance solutions to the problem or avoiding disaster. If this problem is hovering over the planet, the joint efforts and resources - mankind will be able to avoid the full destruction.
But escape destruction and remain a man - two different things. Apocalypse is described as the end of the world, the dawn of mankind, his final existence. In the religious world - we will disappear, ascended into heaven and finding an eternal and wonderful life.
The same promises and singularity. With the end of the era of transhumanism - the world will remain only a few people consciously protect themselves against progress. Humanity, having made a huge breakthrough will change forever.
We will have a new body, the foundation of which will be laid not molecular processes and subatomic mechanisms similar to those that occur in the interior of black holes and pulsars nuclei.
Our cradle, which we now call the planet - will remain somewhere far behind, and in front of individuals thrown open new horizons, shocking.

Apocalypse will happen anyway. But it is its effects have a significant impact on us, the people or not  the people.
