Each
tribe, nation, ethnic group, individual countries and peoples - are unique
formations on the face of the planet. Being unique and inimitable, every hour
they are trying to assert its status of "Greatness" and
"significant" in the history of the planet. But the difference,
individual traits and characteristics do not give anyone the right to assert
their own importance. Be original, do not mean to be "better", and
racial, ethnic and national differences do not allow people with distinct features
of these groups, to assert his own importance. Yes, cultural characteristics
can stand out as the "best" in a particular activity. Some races are
physically fitter, stronger, faster. Others - tend to merge into a single
group, and their power in maintaining interpersonal communication. The third -
only strong in mental activity. But "better" does not yet exist.
The
number of nations and ethnic groups - large. But the number of "pure"
representatives of each of these groups, tends to zero. Humanity is being
integrated, merges and splits into the new representatives, combining the
features of a completely different races. Is it good? It is wonderful.
It
was like, the continuous synthesis and analysis, humanity gets the best
features of various groups. The resulting "product" will always stand
out from the parents, exceed them biologically. With little help from the
outside, in the process of socialization and formation of the person, the
person on the order will surpass their ancestors. But all is not as easy as it
seems.
The
world is full of archaic, primitive and imperfect culture. Crops that are proud
of their orthodoxy and lack of practicality. The less demand element of a
culture, the greater grows the value of "the forgotten masters of
craft." Moreover, the value grows exclusively in the circles of those who
engage in it. To create a cultural "communities" where everyone lives
as if he had not heard about the technology. But, nevertheless, they are: water
supply, sewerage, electricity, gas. Furthermore, representatives of these
cultures begin to behave aggressively against the tread of progress, which
basically involves globalization. People are starting to say that they
"restrict, prevent self-expression, the right to oppress." That is
how a child may scream, caring parents who pulled out of the mud puddle and try
to put in order. This force no limits representatives of various cultures in
their natural habitat of existence.
Multiculturalism
was reasonable and necessary in the past. Then, when she was a strong incentive
for competition and development. It is local conflicts between different groups
of people to help improve and develop. But now people think globally, and the
world is getting smaller. We can easily find the signs of his own
imperfections, as well as ways to change it. We should not compare ourselves
with "neighbors" that would determine the status. Multiculturalism
interfere in the renunciation of stereotypes, prejudice, outdated worldview.
Progress in pure form requires a person more critical and at the same time an
increased tolerance to a new experience. And it is completely absent in the
life of our ancestors.
Healthy
conservatism and respect for previous generations, and their importance for a
person today - only underlines our strength. But go to the attributes of old,
reheated food at the stake, and to believe in "the power of the living
earth," to put it mildly - is unwise. But damn comfortable.
To
believe in superstitions or comply with the time - it depends only on us.
