Hunger,
fatigue, the desire to leave something behind. One of the first instincts is
available to all living beings, from unicellular organisms and to humans. We
all want the same thing, no matter in what place and at what time. Sooner or
later, the instinct makes itself felt and all that remains for us - to meet
him, or die. But the question arises in the constant pursuit of satisfaction
with regard to whether it is right? And is it possible to stop this pursuit, to
abandon the instincts and to live according to the logic of pure reason?
Alas, no.
Pure reason does not feel emotions, which puts him in the position of the
existence of absolute indifference. There is no difference between life and death;
there is no desire to do anything. This turns the mind into the perfect tool,
but not an independent, functional unit. All that we can do for the instincts,
is competent to seek ways to meet them. But are we doing this?
The
situation is exactly the opposite. We did not use the advance for the needs of
competent solutions of the problem. We literally "fall asleep,"
organism artificial analogues, guided by the same principles as that of the
ancient Romans. Bread, spectacle, wine and sex. All a person is more than
enough to experience that pleasure. But in the pursuit of pleasure, whether we
feel happy?
The answer
we already know.
