Chaos is no
apparent order. The fact that we cannot recognize, understand or imagine is
chaotic. Only with a complete picture and computing power to accept it, we can
assert the existence of the order. And that nature, in all its beauty, it is
absolute chaos for us. And man, throughout its history, trying to understand
and learn, brings at least some order.
We create
schedules, calendars, time frame. We systematize the world, making it more
efficient. Civilization lives rhythms of day and night, the particular motion
and control systems. And commonality continues to grow. Not because there are
tyrants who dream of totalitarian regimes. Just because it is profitable,
convenient and efficient. However, for more efficiency, we need more data.
Cameras on
poles, telephone tapping, monitoring of the activities of the network. All this
is done not because someone wants to keep track of people. It's for the safety
of people. Terrorists can be noticed on the area of interest; criminals - to
keep under review, maniacs - stop at the origin of the desire to kill. What we
do every day, and what is allowed by the law - is not a crime. Our specific
tastes and preferences are of little interest to those who can look into the
everyday life of millions of users. Moreover, we voluntarily provide as much
information about yourself that its value has been steadily decreasing,
succumbing to the natural process of inflation.
We can
continue to uphold the right to privacy, which they and break. And we can
accept monitoring as a natural means of security. In any case, how to treat it,
can only be solved by ourselves.
