The inertia of thinking

Over the past hundred years, the world has changed more radically than a thousand years before that. In the Middle Ages can still submit self-propelled carts, the mastery of the power of lightning and the invention of new types of weapons. But today's world is qualitatively different from the fantasies of the twentieth century and features.

Then we could not yet imagine jet planes, space travel, the use of tiny sensors and the current level of medicine. The world was just beginning to learn the science, but we put it into practice. We are trying to implement, in spite of the resistance from the side of our own psyche. Indeed, the development world will always keep up with the forefront of the science.

We cannot escape from the attributes and relics of the past. We continue to attract the galactic empire, flying cars, space ships, based on the science of the last century. And continuing to look at the world through the prism of outdated attitudes, we voluntarily give up development. So be on the side of a bygone era stereotypes, or try to build a new world of the future? Everyone chooses himself.
