Its
existence, the civilization and the culture of consumption, led to the crisis,
which is unlikely to be able to occur in vivo. It is a crisis of
overproduction, when a man was oversaturated the market, leading to higher
inflation. A similar process is taking place today at the market of farms that
are busy in mining of cryptocurrency.
Computational
technologies have made it possible to make money "out of thin air",
through special equipment. Of course, it is not, but to the outside observer it
is a picture. So what happens? In the pursuit of profit, the participants
improve their equipment, putting in it most of the profits. Obsolete graphics
cards, motherboards and processors - in the best case sold. At worst - are
released.
The
peculiarity of every person today is that we are able to make a scientific
discovery a global scale. distributed computing systems need any facilities,
which we can only provide. On older hardware, we can run programs that
calculate the protein synthesis, calculate the trajectory of the electrons
flying in the collider, engaged in solving mathematical problems. The total
capacity of the processing power of humanity is so great, that would allow us
to accelerate scientific progress in several times. But is there any desire to
go to the best?
