The human
body is united in its control, management, and reactions. We take a particular
stimulus, isolating it from other series, and respond to it by entire body,
allowing for greater impact. In the martial arts we put full body weight at one
point to throw the opponent. Moving up the career ladder - we sacrifice time,
entertainment, social ties. When a man seeks to survive, it eliminates minor
irritants, preferring only specific functions.
Today, we
stand on the threshold of something bigger. Science and technology have brought
us the boundary of human existence. We are surrounded by risks, dangers and
challenges that have never experienced before. The radioactive threat in the
Middle Ages? Problems with ecology in the cave century? Social strata and classes
of conflicts in the Renaissance? This game will seem to mankind, in which
technology can afford to become gods, each one of us.
War is not
for power, not for resources, but for - someone to live on. The prospect of
immortality or longevity was never before been so close, so alluring. Let us
whether we are united with technology, we will improve if the forces and
capabilities - it's up to ourselves.
