Another time

The world stands on the threshold without the risk of stepping and step. Individual minds and scientists struggled pulled forward, abutting the crowd by offering attractive prospects and generous gifts. But such offers allow you to move in tiny increments, making a huge slug of humanity.

It is extremely difficult to present a picture of the future in the long term. Many of us have had experience and personally experienced the unpredictability of progress. Technology, which promises to be promising, devalued and disappeared. Grandiose achievements became commonplace and inconspicuous products progress suddenly blossomed, forcing everyone to admire them.

We can not predict what will be in 40-50 years. If Moore's Law will continue to act, we came very close to the singularity, and the flow of innovations and achievements filled all our existence. But technology can go a different path, creating hybrid forms with organic, or will be used for computing a principle built in quanta, and photons. Even our body can be converted into a computer, donating specific DNA fragments, and writing information directly at the genetic level. Too many options we offer, and the choice is becoming more diverse.

A man is defined not by words but by deeds. They are quoting the true value of the person, demonstrating its ability. We confirm this rule, according to the marker that everyone from our environment gets over life. Any our activities (or lack thereof) brings results on the basis that surround us form a definite opinion. Absolutely identical scheme works in the field of advanced technologies.

Any fantastic thing could be real, provided that it will be in demand. Future form requests that all of us put forward according to the needs. But what generates the need - this is a separate issue.

Anyway - progress based on concrete results. What exactly is it gives us: a coincidence, a ritual, or a consequence of scientific fact or technology product - it does not matter. We seek in any way to get anything, especially the vital areas, let alone what means - yet it does not matter.

New time provides us with new opportunities, 90% of which we immediately lose, omit, we do not see. But those 10% will be more than enough for all of humanity. However, whether we are in 30-40 years is still to be called "humanity", is another question.
