The evolution of the psyche

Humanity is evolving, changing the world and himself. We are increasing the amount of empirical and cognitive experience. We change the physiology and affirm its place as the higher beings evolution. But technology, science, social interaction and human physiology - this is not the only sphere, the victims change.

Our perception of the world is changing, according to the acquired experience. In the Middle Ages, we sincerely believe that the earth is flat and standing on elephants. In general, a child in the preschool age, may also believe in it, to give a specific set of knowledge. Moreover, such a worldview can be cultivated by developing the belief system, the arguments and creating a circle of reference entities. We can believe in anything, if we want. And it will have a particular impact on our development.

For all time of life, we are not just faced with breaking stereotypes and perceptions of certain paintings. We are living through some experience, abandon old attitudes and acquire new ones. And here the person gets a very distinctive feature, peculiar to our time. We are becoming less trusting.

Correct criticism of any new experience - that's a rational mechanism of evolution. And criticism is not selective and total. We put into question not only the facts that the very presence make us doubt. We also wonder about the steadfastness of truths in which we believe.

Pay attention to the fanatics and radicals. People very specific mindset and character. Would they commit acts of aggression, if it had developed intelligence? We see a direct relationship than the "stronger" person believes in his innocence, the fiercer he proves it around, the less likely that the "rightness" is not true.

Previously, we have not met with such an abundance of information, as it is now. Evolutionary, we have predispositions that help protect from external influence on the psyche. All we can do is, or completely isolated, or carefully filter the flow of information. As a consequence, we evolve consciously. The body does not adapt for a hundred years for such data streams. But we create certain rules of conduct, themselves looking for easy filter and monitor the sources of knowledge. And changing the perception, we change the mentality.

The man has not changed. Save percentage naive, silly, clever and strong individuals. It remains a place for the paradoxical and abnormal personalities. But in general, our outlook, our view of the world - has evolved into hundreds of times. We have reduced the planet, increasing the speed of movement. We have gone beyond the atmosphere, and thus confirmed its status as developing beings. We have pushed the evolution and now are changing quickly after her.

The evolution of the psyche - an essential process that accompanies us in the development. We learn to see the world differently, learn to perceive the world differently. For what? At least - survival. As a maximum - because of the closeness of the old world.

Change the mentality and perception or not - this is a purely personal matter.
