Ideal inflation

In the different religions, in different degrees, there is a ban on the image of the Creator. Moreover, such a prohibition appeared only in the newest religions. The same paganism calls almost everywhere put totems, posts with images of the gods, to draw images. But everything depends on what we believe is one Creator, God, and how great is our ideal? And if we can, by a person, to describe, understand or realize it?

Today, the science shows that there is a man with a very limited range of feelings. Our perception, physical limitations, the genetic mechanisms - are far from ideal. Our desired image: invincible, beautiful, immortal, free of defects and with advanced capabilities. But we know it is only because they lack these qualities. Acquiring them will go on to new goals and needs. Or not?

The ubiquity of Ideals negates their value. Laid out in the worship of "idol", we lose the opportunity to do something really useful. We focus on the dangerous idols, as to imitate them, we deprive ourselves of identity. But ultimately, the choice in the ideals and reference points in development is always behind us.
