Progress of the kind

Humanity develops in the daily struggle with the outside world. No matter when and where we were born. We live in the wild or in the center of the civilized world. The laws of competition, the struggle for resources and power of basic survival instincts - all remains the same. Changing only the methods. But is "ripe" for us that would apply the products of science and technology?

Fear is the main mechanism that is the basis for both development and degradation. We are afraid of anything new. This is due to nature, or kind to give in so many mutations that would not be able to generate offspring. But in this case, when the changes are made chaotic, uncontrolled, like everything in the natural world.

The man changed everything. We went away from the chaos and anarchy, to engineering and construction. In laboratories synthesize new genes, preparing drugs, new types of GMOs are grown. Fear of mankind was the basis for the creation of countless commissions, which are designed to regulate and limit the progress of the market. But we have many "tools" available. Abandon them - and will remain the same as the other seven billion, doomed to die of old age, illness or accident. Let's risk - and will gain the status of being an evolutionary higher than man.
